In the deep silence of Maundy Thursday, we do such simple things: gather together to share a meal, tell ancient stories, break bread and pour wine, wash weary feet…and begin a vigil that will lead us\u00a0through the terror and desolation of Good Friday,\u00a0to the triumph and joy of the Resurrection.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

EUCHARIST<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n
Harsh, knocking, pounding words:
\nTAKE\u00a0 and\u00a0 BREAK –
\nWounding and healing heart and mind
\nto touch the point of LOVE.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n

Meet smooth, soft counterpoint:
\nBLESS\u00a0 and\u00a0 GIVE –
\nFrom a womb of terror
\nBirthing eas`ed pain, and\u00a0 LIFE.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
