Palm Sunday, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Donkey speaks:<\/em>
\n<\/strong>What\u2019s that you say? <\/em>
\n The Lord has need of me? And my foal as well?<\/em>
\n To carry Him to Jerusalem this day?<\/em>
\n Ah, well, that is my lot in life, is it not?<\/em>
\n To carry burdens upon my shoulders, like the Cross I bear.<\/em>
\n Oh, my\u2014I wonder if He will notice the Cross upon my back?<\/em>
\n Will he see the Cross again very soon? <\/em>
\n In five short days, they say. <\/em>
\n And then I will not be there to carry Him.<\/em>
\n For He will bear His own Cross,<\/em>
\n And be a beast of burden for all the world.<\/em>
\nHe may ride upon my back this day.<\/em><\/p>\n
